Project Goals

The project goals are centred around the support of vulnerable youth in Thimphu. To reach them, get to now them and through sports activities encourage them to learn skills such as discipline, confidence and leadership. If possible they will be encouraged to go back to school, enroll in vocational training institutes.

The program provides capacity building by means of developing expertise in the area of assessment, and managing youth related social issues through sports by NSFs, universities, social organizations, private (business) sector, government institutions.

Sustainability of the present program is included in project goals by including stakeholders: Government, private sector/philanthropy and developing commercial, self-earning activities. Program outcomes can become a showcase for policy development and future government involvement. Youth issues do affect social environment including business community.
